bernina 350 special edition

Date: 3/4/13 11:19 PM i'm wondering if anybody out there has a bernina 350 special edition machine. i have one on order, but i keep finding conflicting information on bernina's site about it (example: one place says FHS is optional, one place says included). the dealer doesn't have one, so it seems like it is anybody's guess. i'm trying to find out if it does have a darning program. the 350 PE does, but the info on bernina's site makes it seem like the 350 SE doesn't. it would also be great to know if there is anything else different than the PE other than that the SE has full shank feet (per bernina at sew expo this past weekend). i didn't know about the darning program until after i got home. i don't really do darning, but it makes me wonder what other information is wrong. it seems like it should probably be identical to the PE with the exception of the full shank vs snap on feet. thanks. :) ------ there is no single machine or brand that is perfect in every way for every person or application. period. pfaff creative performance * bernina 350SE * pfaff passport 2.0 * '34 singer 221 * '61 singer 221K * BL grace * BL evolution desperate for something to read? check out my blog at http://www.50sqftstudios.com

Date: 3/5/13 1:04 AM The 350 SE machine comes with the FHS, full shank presser feet and it comes with a walking foot. I do not need this machine, no way no how. But my dealer has them for an awesome price so I am pretty sure I am going to pick up the postcard one when I pick up my 780. I am in love with this machine! And the fact it comes with the free hand system and a walking foot is awesome! ------ Berninas - with a few vintage other makes, love them all

US dealers had to pre-order them back in October, and they are now all sold out. The Bernina Canada rep tried to get one for me, but Bernina USA had none left, totally sold out. *sob* ------ I heart Panzy, Pfaff Creative Performance, the sewing machine love of my life!
