Kenmore Series 148.210 Model 21 Vintage Kenmore Model 21
stitchjunkie Member since 2/14/13 Posts: 2	Login to reply to this post Like this post Subject: Kenmore Series 148.210 Model 21 Question Date: 3/5/13 0:22 AM After many, many hours of searching the internet, reading through blogs, reading blogs that didn't even relate to the Kenmore 148.210 subject ....I hope someone on this site can help me find some answers to this machine. I have the owners manual, it only has three stiches, zig, straight, blind. I do know it was manufactured 1963-1966 by Soryu of Japan for Kenmore, but what I don't know is it a "high shank" or an "extra high shank"? I do know low shank feet do not fit. If I am going to purchase sewing feet for this machine, what type/brand will I need to search on to fit this machine? I purchased some feet off ebay thinking they would fit because they were Kenmore, but they turned out to be low shank and did not fit, though I thought I was getting what fit this machine. I am in the market for a new machine and will continue to research all the great advice on machines this site has to offer. Thank you for that...... -- Edited on 3/5/13 0:41 AM --

Some of the 158's ( including the one I own, 158.1913) take the super high shank. You can get more information at the vintage Kenmore yahoo group. ------ Singer 66-16.
