Can anyone tell me where to find the fabrics found on the covers of patterns. For example I'm looking for the fabric used for Butterick 5884
Thanks, ------ She Seams (at least it looks like she knows...)

Date: 3/6/13 6:22 PM I would try and call the pattern company. Maybe they could tell you. The number is usually listed on the back of the pattern envelope. Let us know if you have any luck! |

LOL-- I have been trying and trying to explain to my 3 year old daughter that the dress doesn't have to look like the pattern cover this week as we have been trying to pick out dresses for her this summer.... she keeps picking out every PINK dress she can find!!! I keep explaining we can make ANY one in pink, she doesn't get it yet. Maybe after we make one she will get it. |

Haha, my sister doesn't get the idea that I can alter patterns--"I don't like the sleeves on that" Ellen, I can take the sleeves off and make it sleeveless. This is not a problem. XD ------ Call me Han.
I'll try anything once :) |

Date: 3/7/13 2:54 PM If you already have the patterns show her the line drawing instead of the envelope. Then she won't be swayed by the fact that it's pink!
But it is cute.
