where to buy a new power pedal bernina 831 broken power pedal
handress Member since 3/7/13 Posts: 3	Login to reply to this post Like this post Date: 3/7/13 4:15 AM My bernina 831 sewing machine power pedal has slowly stopped working. I know its the pedal because I used a friends pedal and everything worked perfectly. Where can I buy a replacement? I have contacted my local bernina and they quoted me $150 to service it, when I explained the situation they insisted this was the solution. I have also looked for a replacement on ebay with no luck. I just dont know where to look next. Any help will be appreciated! Thank you! Heather

Date: 3/8/13 2:26 AM I took mine to my vacuum guy...he took the cord off my broken pedal and put it on a different brand pedal that he had in his stash of parts (I guess some people decide to not repair machines sometimes and they just give them to him)...anyhow - he charged me like 20 bucks. and I seriously like this pedal better as its metal and not so klunky! I'm quite pleased, a year later!
