Date: 3/8/13 8:48 AM I sold my sergers along with several sewing machines for health reasons. Now I realize I miss having the serger as I want to use it to make blankets for missionary work & locally mission. Can buy used Bernina 1200DA for $600 plus professional packing & shipping or the the Viking from local dealer for $495.00. When I'm gone my daughter has no interest in sewing so either would be sold in estate sale. Exactly when that is can't be predicted but advancing. I had trouble with threading with old one.I could possibly be using it 6 months or 6 yrs , but no longer & prob. not that long, but can't be predicted. Would appreciate help in selecting. Making these items & donating give me something meanigful to do.I'm also con't to quilt for my family & friends to give to them. Thank you for any help. |
