when i went to embroider a pattern and half way through i realised that the frame was too small, so went the frame and took out the disc and now i cannot find the pattern i was useing so now i cannot move the embroidery arm back to the home position any advise please

Try turning the machine off, then on again and the arm will readjust itself.

Hi Thanks for the message tried turning it on then off that dos'e not work.... its when you put the embrodery arm in it will not go back to the centre position, have you got any thoughts ... called the Brother agent he could not help and said the machine was old ,so he was a much use as a chocolate fire guard ha ha

Something may be wrong with it then.. Can you take it in to have it checked?

TAKE IT IN! The technicians at my work repair all kinds of machines. I know for a fact they have the manual for this maqchine because if I am not mistaken, it is the same as my ULT-different name. BTW, your machine should have refused to sew if your frame was too small so it sounds like you have issues.
