Hi! I have a dress pattern with two bust darts and four waist darts (two in front, two in back). I was wondering if there's a way to convert these darts into princess seams, just for the bodice. Step-by-step instructions would be great- thanks!! :)

This tutorial should help you with the bodice front.

I have tips for doing something similar on the back bodice in both of the drafting/modification books I just bought, but they're at home. Maybe someone else is good enough at this stuff to offer a quick-and-dirty tip for the back?

This looks great! I'm going to try it out soon. All I wanted was a simple picture tutorial and I got it - thanks!

Happy to help! For what it's worth, I just tried this out myself. I'm not done yet, but so far, so good!
