Date: 3/17/13 2:15 PM I just bought the latest Quilty issue. It is the March/April one. There is a pattern for a cute quilt made with flannel. I love it. The pattern doesn't say what kind of fabric to use for the backing. Would it be ok to use flannel for the back of the quilt?

Date: 3/17/13 11:25 PM Sure, why not? I think things go more easily if the weights are matched, but Cat usually backs hers in something heavier than cotton (fleece? minke? flannel?) and her quilts are beautiful. ------ Barb |
