sewing reversible swimwear beginner

Does anyone have any info where I can see how this is done? I have tried youtube and google. I would even pay to take a class or something online but I cant find anything at all. Thanks for the help

There must be a method to this :/ Anyone have any suggestions?

Have a look at this video - it's a dress but you might be able to adapt it to the bottoms. I see how she did it with this dress, although, I am still confused on how I can adapt it to the boy short bikini bottoms. I am a beginner so I am having a hard tine visualizing it. I wish there was a place I would see someone making this swimwear. Thank you so much for your help I wish I was more experienced to adapt it myself.

Several people on this board have recommended Kwik Sew's Swim and Action Wear by Kersten Martensson. I found it on Amazon. I haven't started on it yet and don't know if it covers reversibles. ------ Now a Babylock girl almost all the way - Ellegante 3, Evolution, and Melody. Plus a Sailrite LSZ-1 for those heavy duty projects

Swim bottoms are not. You need at least one of your bottoms to be a tube in order to be able to turn the pieces. The easiest thing to do sew both of the bottoms separately, leaving the waists and leg openings unfinished. Place them wrong sides together. Bind the two pieces at the waist and the legs in a coordinating color. To bind, line up the openings; baste together if the fabric is too slippery to stay in place. Bind the openings in a color that coordinates with both sides. Look at information on how to use foldover elastic for binding, I'm sure there are videos. I'm not sure how FOE holds up to chlorine/salt water, though, so consider in what type of water you'll be wearing the swimmers. You can make your own binding out of fabric (in which case, look at info on how to use double fold bias tape--but don't attempt to use bias tape, it won't stretch). ====== Alternatively and more complicated, you can stitch them together at the waist if you don't want waist binding. Sew each bottom separately, leaving the waist and legs unfinished. Leave one end of the crotch unsewn on one piece, so that one of your panties is a tube. Turn the unfinished panty inside out, and place it inside the other, right sides together. Stitch together at the waist, using elastic if needed. Flip the inside (wrong side out) panty to the outside. Folding the crotch and body so that the right sides are together (if you just line up the fabric as is, your seam will be on the outside), sew the final crotch seam. Flip the crotch seam back to the inside. Now the wrong sides are together and the waist seam is finished. I have thought about binding as well. But I do own a pair of boy shorts I am trying to recreate where there is no binding. The only space on the bottoms that were sewn once it was right side out and is visible is a small hole in the waist band. There must be a way to do this but I cant seem to figure it out and its one of those things that driving me crazy that I can't figure it out lol. I doubt ill even be able to sleep tonight haha
