Does anyone own both of these machines?

There are a few things better about the Juki:
1. Adjustable cutting width on the buttonholes
2. Knobs to adjust stitch length and width

But $375 for the Brother PC420PRW......it's so tempting to try one!

Has anyone sewn on both machines? Can you give me a comparison?

I have sewn on both machines and own the Juki. The Juki is much more solid and the stitch quality is amazing. It is smooth and it sews through just about anything.

Thanks! I just went to youtube and found some demos. The Juki sounds better. Less clunk clunk clunk sounds. I wish I had a Juki dealer nearby!

But if anyone wants a Brother, Amazon has it for $375 + free shipping.

If you are interested in the Juki F-600, check with any Sew & Vac places in your area. I know one of ours sells the Juki F-600.

I don't have one, but have considered it. Also, I believe AllBrands online has them.

Happy hunting!

I haven't sewn on the Juki, but I did own the Brother PC420 for 3 miserable years. I might as well have thrown $499 out the window for all the good that machine did me.

Why Oh why does the Juki F600 seem so ugly to me??? I read a lot of reviews on this machine and am wondering about it myself. I even found this last night and am seriously considering it but say what you want I just don't like its look. It has almost everything you could want in a machine except pivot feature and low bobbin indicator and, well, its looks.

You can pivot with the needle down and using the knee lever to raise the presser foot.

I agree, it could use some tweaking in the appearance department. I like the knobs, though.

Tammy.. believe me.. the looks will grow on you.. I now even enjoy looking at it.. Everyone has that same first reaction to the way it looks.. but if you notice.. anyone that has had their machine for a while never mentions it now..
REALLY.. Its different .. but in a handsome way..
