A frequent visitor to the Mid South I'm in Nashville this week and wondering where I might go to find fashion fabric? More specifically, I hope to find a selection of lingerie fabrics, lace, trims and findings. Can anyone offer any suggestions?

Definitely Textile Fabrics on Franklin Road. (map will say Franklin Pike maybe)
It is just under a big overpass bridge in shadows, between a hair salon, furniture store and a Walgreens or CVS at light. (2717 Franklin Rd. maybe?)

The have a big sale the entire month of June (50 percent off I think) so get swatches for later. I have seen some of their fabrics online for less....but Nashville is lucky to support this great store.

The staff is great.

Good pattern counter which seems to be lacking in most stores today...even just for the books. Great trims and buttons.

(Edited for typo but accidentally like my own post.....gee!)

I cannot remember ever seeing lingerie fabrics at Textile, but it wouldn't hurt to call and ask, as they might be tucked away somewhere. Textile has a nice selection of trims and findings, too, as well as buttons and natural fiber fabrics. Prices are not cheap. Very nice selection of wool, silk and linen.

Muna Couture on 3404 West End Avenue, just north of the I-440 junction, has lovely fabrics, too. It is worth the time and effort to go and see what they have. They do custom dressmaking and might have some lingerie fabrics. Again, it doesn't hurt to call and ask. Sorry that I don't remember seeing a lot of trims or buttons, but I was not focused on that, the one time I was there. They also had a good sale area.

There is also Children's Corner, but they specialize in heirloom/children's sewing. Limited selection in everything. You might find some nice shirting and batiste fabrics, if you are interested. They aren't far from Textile.

Thanks everyone. I was able to vist Textile Fabrics. What a beautiful store! I'll make a point to stop in whenever I'm in Nashville and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.
