Hi all, I just want to clarify something... how do you control SMAD?
After my 1120 purchase I thought I was done but now I want a 550qe!
I believe the 530 is discontinued here on Aus because it's not listed on Bernina Australia. No more 530

How do you suppress your needs and wants on a machine you don't really need but you easily convince yourself you need it?

Oh my dear lady. You have come to the wrong place! I almost wound up with a PINK Morse sewing machine that I did not have room for when I sought folks here to convince me not to buy it. LOL! All I can say is that perhaps someone should start an SMAD Anonymous

I feel a little remorse thinking about it lol.
I think I have a pretty darn good lot of machines but my that 550qe would make a fine addition you know.
The 1120 has a CB hook so I am hoping maybe the felting needle attachment will fit my 1120. I don't want to felt on my 750 nor do I want a separate felting machine as I will not have anymore room for a 550qe if I do

If you can afford it and you really want it, where is your problem. Go for it. Try and stop feeling guilty and enjoy it.

You do not control SMAD. It controls you. You can get better by buying another machine.

I really enjoy quilting. I love to play with fabrics, colors and pictures. I recently discovered how much fun applique can be. As I love making pictures, landscape quilting can be challenging, but seeing the picture come to life is so rewarding.

I think I'm now a member of this group. It doesn't help when a friend GIVES you a machine.

Why would you want to control it?

I heart Panzy, Pfaff Creative Performance, the sewing machine love of my life!

Most of all, I heart Woo (HimmyCat). Until we meet again, my beautiful little boy. I love you.

You sew more: hands busy cutting, sewing, tracing can't be on a look out for new machines on the web! Of course asking the rest of us? That's like asking if you should stop eating chocolate in the middle of a chocolate convention.
