This is a great story of a dad who made Easter outfits for his 11 kids every year from the 1940's on:

I'm sorry the link was no good. Thanks, B, for helping us out! It was a full page story in the Sunday Trib, complete with pictures of 11 adorable kids wearing matching Easter outfits made by their dad.

Thank you for finding the photos! What a task of love to sew all those Easter outfits! (wish they were in color)

Rather unusual to have the family split almost half and half--sisters and brothers. Each sister was probably assigned a brother to care for. LOL.

Loved seeing the photos but must confess I felt I needed a nap just thinking about sewing that many suits. I can't imagine how he managed to get that much matching yardage and got it all done. I wonder if the older ones had to sew as well as babysit. Lol!
