Would this Style Arc pattern work for this look?
If not, do you have a pattern to suggest for the dress?

If it's the scoop neck, knee length look you are going for, I think this will work well.

I do think the skirt will be a bit more swingy than the inspiration piece. It has more of a pencil skirt look to it. So if it's the drape of the skirt you like, I don't think this pattern will work.

I love this dress, there is black one with an orange scarf worn by Chloe in the Style Arc photo gallery, not as figure hugging as your inspiration pic.

IMHO--(of course its really how you want it to fit, look.)
the pattern doesn't have the same bust area-and I think that's the great part on that dress-and it can still be modest.
In fact-the pattern would make my boobs look even bigger-because its sleeveless and completely covers bust.

I see it now too. The inspiration dress doesn't seem to be a knit either. I should have caught that!

I think there are a few options that might get you closer to the look in your inspiration photo.

How about
Butterick 5768
Vogue 8648
Burda 7972
Burda 7557
Simplicity 2648
Simplicity 1882

Do let us know what you decide, as your inspiration pic is lovely.

I am going to say no. You can find something much closer to the original than this. First of all, the rtw has a pencil skirt, the SA has an A line shape. The RTW looks like it's not a knit, and I the Style arc is. Third the original looks like it might have a waist seam, if not it has darts front and back at the very least. The necklines aren't the same either, but that's an easy fix. There are lots of sheath patterns out there. Style arc has a few as well.
How about this one? I don't think that the original has a waist band, but this has the same shape and neckline as the original.

Your choice is very pretty and would work well with the belt the model is wearing.

Yes Vogue 8648 looks like it would be a good match.
