I have been eyeing tshirt patterns for quite some time now. I have looked at Jalie, Pamela's patterns and a few others. I have small shoulders, a full bust and a somewhat shapley waist. I like Vnecks the best. Just not sure which one to try first. The ones from the big four just don't seem to be what I am looking for. Any tips would be great. Hoping to get some cute clothes made for spring and summer.

Pamela's Patterns t-shirt quickly became my go-to. It makes the best t's I've ever had. I've used it probably a dozen times.

Jalie knit tops fit well and have so many sizes that it's easy to fit your shoulders and bust. Christine Jonson patterns are great too. Haven't used the Pamela's Patterns top pattern but it has a following.

Pamela's Patterns have been my TNT since it first came out and I use it frequently to check the design of other patterns.

I don't know why but I just do not have much success with Jalie but am still working away at getting the correct fit with their patterns which are so nice

I love Pamela's which sounds perfect for our shape. But if you're a size 8 or smaller it will probably be too big.
Another pattern that works well for narrow shoulders and a fuller bust is Connie Crawfords T shirt for Butterick 5215. Don't let the ugly cover fool you.

Thanks for all the replies. I might try the Pamela's pattern and the Butterick. I have one Jalie top pattern (2682), but it wasn't working with my full bust, so I have to play around with it a bit. I am definitely not a size 8 or anywhere near that at the moment, so that shouldn't be a problem. I am just learning to sew with knits, so I need something simple. I do have a few simplicity patterns that are a bit more dressy. I am tired of buying plain Tshirts and want something a bit dressier to wear sometimes.

Another Pamela's Patterns fan here. I struggled with this top a bit, and then was fortunate enough to participate in a day long T shirt making seminar with her. The 3 fitting tips I learned about this pattern are 1.There is only one measurement needed, but take it firmly. 2. Most of the women in the class including myself used the petite chest and sleeve lines. I'm not petite. 3. Don't cheat, use the darted front.

Maybe because I fit in the top, but Pamela used me (swoon) as her fitting model so we could really see what a difference the actually quite small dart made. Now I use this as my knit base and have made a dozen tops, none the same. I add, subtract, slash, spread and otherwise mutilate my pattern to get the effect I want.

I've made sweaters, tunics, dressy t's, even a peplum top with this as a base. I wish you success in finding a good pattern for you. I have found mine so useful.

With Jalie you base your size on your full chest measurement - doesn't matter if there is a lot of bust there or not. Did you do that?

I am a fan of jalie 2682
I have narrow shoulders and a big bust cicumference. I did use the bustcircumfereynce as a startinoint. Of course I had to adapt, but it dbid turn out fine. The empire waist gives a lot of possibilities to hide your adaptations. I used the pattern this year in the OPML contest
