I just made a pair of shorts from a very old pattern, I think i have had it for about 13 years now. I should have 5-6 things done but I have found myself doing all kinds of other needed things.....I cleaned my sewing room. I separated and filed my patterns away. I bought new cutting table. I registered the car...done my taxes....everything but get my butt in gear and sewed. Hopefully this will kick start my progress for the remainder of the contest. The shorts are just a muslin for the pants I want to make. Now I need to adjust the pattern to correct the fit. Wish me luck!

I had to chuckle when I read this. I sew almost every day, but seems in the last few days I've not had the drive. I got up this morning, went in to the sewing room, took down all the curtains, and matching chair cover. They are now in the wash. I'm not a "Spring cleaning" person, but it just seems like the sewing room needed a bit of refreshing. Now off to do some vacuuming...maybe after the curtains come out of the dryer and get re-hung, I'll get a bit of the sewing mojo back

Mmm, I hear you. I started deep cleaning my bedroom/sewing room, and have been sewing all kinds of things that are not eligible for the pattern stash contest. XD I've made three baby blankets, a set of curtains, and started a ball gown. I almost sewed two or three new patterns as well, even though my fabric finally came in the mail for my stashed patterns!!!

2014 resolution: keep track of sewn yardage!! I'm subtracting fabric given away from my yardage in. Yeah!
In: 93 yards
Sewn: 61 yards

I'll try anything once :)

Please excuse my typos...sometimes it is harder to go back and edit on mobile than it is worth!
