Hi! I'm so in love with this neckline. Can anyone help me figure out how I would go about supporting a bodice like this? I assume I would need to use a lot of boning? Would I also use underwire bra cups? Boning along the V edges with strong invisible netting modesty panel?

I will begin although there are many who can probably speak more authoritatively. The primary support seems to be boning that starts at the center front and continues over the top of the bust and back to the waist. Then I see boning on either side of the bust and one under it. Certainly net would secure the bodice for actual wear and presumably dancing.

Even with boning and reinforcement that is not going to be enough to make that one stay in place just no matter what, if you are moving around a lot, and lifting your arms above your head and such. Think about maybe being out on a dance floor in it or such. When arms lifted, your breasts are going to try to pop out of the top of it. So I think O.K. for a photo or some event if you hold yourself very careful and limit your movements, for a limited amount of time.

If not, then I think that one needs to be combined with "body glue" even and double stick tape and all else possible to avoid the dreaded "wardrobe malfunction" kind of thing going on. Also look at how tightly pressed is it to the top of her bust, particular on the right there. She has got a big dimple and pressed in place where it is even digging into the top of that breast there and making kind of an odd bump just even with her skin where it meets the top of the bodice there and she and she has her bust thrust forwards, and arms rather pinned backwards to even get it flush against her there, just even for that photo. It would be kind of hard to keep that pose, while doing all sorts of other things in it.

I agree. She looks very uncomfortable which makes me uncomfortable. There has to be some serious double stick fashion tape with this one.

One thing I learned a long time ago when I did interior design. Photos are often "rigged" with all sorts of unseen paraphernalia to make them look stunning. Sometimes they just can't be made, its all for a momentary shoot of photgraphy.
