I made up a muslin for this. I cut a 16 and graded to 12 down the side. The facing and side seam are huge, like 4 inches. The sleeve fits fine, so I'm afraid if I just make it smaller all around, the sleeve won't fit. Do I just take in the difference on the side and grade down?

Another thought. Could I take in 1 inch from center front and 1 inch from center back to make up for the 2 inch difference in the side seams? Then also shortened the facing on the side by 2 inches?

This fitting thing is tough......

Can you post a few more pictures? A full frontal would help. What cup size are you? You might be able to go down a size or two in the pattern and do a Full Bust Adjustment(FBA).

More photos would be helpful, you can't tell much by seeing the edge of the side seam.

I suspect that the PP is correct you need a much smaller size and a FBA. Maybe an increase to the arms if you need.

Hello JTink,

http://www.flickr.com/photos/78630609@N06/8639625140/in/photostream/

I had this pic in my original post. My cup size is B. It fits well over the shoulder and armhole. If I make it smaller all over, I'm afraid it won't fit in the shoulder.

That one takes me to a log in screen.

I don't use fliker so I can't help with photo posting, it's pretty simple from photobucket.

Hi mgmsrk1,
