I hope our Boston sewists, friends and family are safe and have not been affected by the explosions. My thoughts and prayers to you.

People come from all over to run in this race - not that that matters really. What an awful thing.

My thoughts and prayers for all the victims and their families. May those injured have a full a fast recovery.

They just reported there was a 3rd blast at JFK Library. I hope they are sweeping Fenway Park--not sure if they will have game tonight. Am anxious to hear who will take 'credit' for this.

There was a game at Fenway earlier in the day. The custom is to go to the game and then meander down to the finish line.

The Bruins hockey game and the Boston Symphony both postponed their appearances for tonight. It has just been dreadful to watch this on TV.
