Currently, for me, a couple a year for personal use or a special gift.

McKenna Ryan for wall in guest room. Robbi Eklow's "Groovy Guitars" for son who is a musician and collects guitars. Baby quilt for special person.

I like seasonal, wall quilts (large quilts bore me), and "Splashing Duck Parade" is about to come down. Nothing for Summer, yet.

I was making several lap quilts each week for charity, but those in charge decided on a direction in which I did not want to be involved. So all the extra fabric was donated to a local seniors group.

Most of my quilts are machine pieced and quilted, a couple are machine applique and a few are machine embroidered blocks.

I digitized a few, very simple quilting designs; mouse, bone and paw prints...didn't realize dog & cat paws differ as well as the pattern they form as they walk....for Cat & Dog Daze quilt and boots & longhorns for a Western quilt of my own design.

I have a problem with motivation and, I think, part of it is due to my husband getting me this darned Kindle!

Well, being rather new to quilting, I can only estimate. I'm thinking I'll wind up making about 6 per year total. That includes all sizes, since I'll also be sewing garments.

I won't make them as gifts unless I know the recipient really wants it. Too much work for someone to just go *meh* about. So most of mine will be for ME! Elasticized kitchen table coverings, wall hangings, and two queen quilts for inside and the travel trailer.

I don't make them for just anyone (free) least they let the darned dog sleep on it!

My dog has his own personal "quilt" stash.

I make about two or three per year. This year the family is growing exponentially. I've a long list of baby quilts to make.

I have made 6 for immediate family,
grandchildren,12, learned a lesson, I make twin size quilts for grandchildren. My grandsons were 15 and the quilts were fine. they are now men and the quilts are to short,so for boys I would add 5 inches. girls 3 inches. for great grandchildren, I made 2 full size quilts and added 4 inches to one grandaughter, she is 12 and already 5ft.

I make them for Project Linus. I tried to set a goal for 2 each month, one would be a fleece blanket, but I just don't have time for that.

How many I make depends on how complicated they are. Some are pretty quick, some take a month.

I also make quilts for my family. I have been working for months on one for my daughter. I put it aside to work on PL quilts, then I had a baby quilt to make. I hate having to put a quilt aside like that, it is hard for me to get back into it, especially when it is a labor intensive very time consuming design.

I don't have any desire to make garments anymore, I am burned out from years of fittings. So for right now, quilts and blankets are the only things I make.

I am sure that will change, there are some really cute tote bags that have caught my interest, and I have been wanting to make baby dolls also for a while now.

I wish I had a little girl to sew for again! I really miss sewing little girl things!
