Looking for a very simple pattern, and sometimes those are the hardest to find!

Can anyone recommend a sleeveless pull on tunic that works with wovens? Preferably not bias-cut. Does such a thing exist?

Style Arc has this one. Although not tunic length would be easy to lengthen. Many members are happy with their fit.

Silhouette Patterns 500 has a woven tank and a funky knit pleated one.

I love the Sorbetto from Colette patterns and it is free. There are over 100 reviews of it here on PR.

I have made the silhouette pattern 500. It fit pretty well first try. The neck was a bit big. If you go with this pattern do a muslin first.

I was looking for the same thing and decided to try the sorbetto (Colette) pattern that is a free down-load that Patti mentioned. I was encouraged by so many positive reviews! You need to be willing to make a muslin but many did just use the pattern w/ no adjustments needed. I had to do an FBA, lengthen it considerably and shorten the shoulder tabs. i also added darts in back to take out some of the fullness. With no buttons or zip, it can't be very fitted or you won't be able to get it on. I'm not used to doing pattern alterations so it was a huge learning experience for me but sorbetto is a really great pattern.

If you want sleeves, a lot of people like Grainline's Scout woven tee. For sleeveless, if you like poking about for vintage patterns, they were more popular in the past, so they're pretty easy to find online. I have bought several, each with great neckline variations.

Hi, Fruzzle, looks like you have quite a few suggestions for tank tops. But you also said something about a woven tunic in your post so here's one I just bought: New Look 6086. There are five reviews that you can check out if indeed it is a tunic you are looking for. Two issues some had were the width of the v-neck and its depth. Those are easily correctible to something that suits you better. Maybe I need to sew this afternoon...
