Just found an bought an old Parson's sewing cabinet w/electric lift. It came with a Singer Touchtronic 2001 that works perfectly, so I'm fairly happy. the trouble is that the lift only goes up, not down. I think the switch is broken.
I would be happy if I could just get the platform down to where I could put my sewing machine level with the table, which is what I bought it for in the first place.
Anyone know how to manually get this to go down? Thanks!
