I am making my daughters wedding dress. It is a simple sweetheart neckline that is strapless. The skirt is attached to the waist and is a mermaid style. She wants an allover cotton lace. I am going to be in SF shopping. Therefore am wondering where to look for lace other than Britex.

Other than Britex? Satin Moon, maybe - I haven't been there in quite a while but they had some really nice stuff, don't remember about lace/formal fabrics. Discount places like Fabrix might have poly lace but probably not cotton. Stonemountain and Daughter in Berkeley is a great option if you can get over there (they're accessible via BART).
