I went crazy today and bought 3 Burda patterns. I've been looking around for a maxi dress for the purple fabric I have and I bought 7083 (sorry can't figure out how to put pictures using my new Ipad). It's like a wrap with a high neckline which I like. I even like the View C top.

I also got Burda 7123 skinny pants. I like view B with the higher waistband. No plumber's butt here!

To go with the pants, I also got Burda 7063 for the little top but I like view B cap sleeves.

I can't believe all 3 have not been reviewed yet. I hope I like them!

I looked at the 7083 for a maxi dress also, but didn't spring for it because of all of the fabric in the front bodice. I have a really nice length of rayon batik that I'm looking for a pattern to make a maxi dress also. Thinking of using LH New York dress LH dress
Have used the view b for a stable knit top, and it sewed up really nice except for tight sleeves. You can find all sorts of patterns for knits for easy wearing casual dresses, but it doesn't seem like there are that many out there for wovens.

I like Burda patterns. Too bad there are no reviews. I saw that Maxi and liked it but didn't buy it yet. I like Burda pants too; they fit me better than other pattern brands. You will have to make them all up and do the first reviews!

Back in the early 90's I had a pattern for a sleeveless maxi dress that was a wrap that you could wrap toward the back or toward the front. No zippers or buttons. It was so easy to sew and so comfortable. I wish I still had that pattern!
