Wow, I couldn't hardly put this book done!! This book presents the French way of life....simplicity....10 piece wardrobes....enjoy what you have.....use your best everyday, don't save it.....drink water when you feel hungry as your body is probably dehydrated and not hungry...and so many more tips on daily living life to the fullest with less. This book is an eye opener. Jennifer also has the blog "The Daily Connoisseur" filled with short videos showing lifestyle tips and the her 10 piece wardrobes. I highly recommend this book for anyone to read. Myself? I will be rereading this book to glean this wonderful information and absorb it. Why wasn't I introduced to all of this sooner in life????

Thank you for posting. I watched Jennifer's spring wardrobe movie and really enjoyed it! I usually don't like those kind of sites (people often come across as a bit snooty...)....She is very likeable!

Watched the video...Cute, young....How it is easier to pull those looks when you are slim and young. I am still learning to differentiate looks/outfits that I love from those that actually are going to work on me...

Sounds a bit like "Why French women don't get fat" or similar. It, too, gave a lot of good tips on how to enjoy life instead of following diets.

Have to drink some water now.

I am up to 4 glasses of water a day, and have been trying it when I am hungry to see if it it is really hunger or just dehydrated. IMHO her ideas are to be taken and adapted for your livestyle, age, etc. I have already gone thru my closet and eliminated a tremendous amount of clothing I haven't worn in a long time and the next day delivered it to the closest charity. The clothes that had holes, tremendously worn, etc were cut up for my dh rags to use outside. I feel great knowing these have been recycled one way or the other. 10 items??? Remember this doesn't include coats, some sweaters, party wear, outerwear and lingerie. Will I get down to 10 items?? Not at this time. It is nice to see that I am doing some things as she suggests, others I am adapting, while others just don't fit. It is a great book as in "food for thought".
