I'm taking a Craftsy class ("Tailored Shirt") which references a one of three Kwiksew patterns. Since the Joann's next door doesn't carry that sort of Kwiksew, I chose to download a version of Kwiksew 3422 from printsew.com, which I printed out on my ledger sized printer.

I'm having a devil of a time aligning the assembled rows, though. It seems that there's a small portion of the pattern that doesn't print.

When I align the rows, it seems as if I should leave a 1/4 inch gap-- I base this on the idea that the yoke piece should be symmetrical on both sides-- it's 9 3/16 on the part that is fully contained within the printed sheet, and 3 inches and 6 inches on the part that is split between the two sheets.

Am I interpreting this correctly? What's your experience with printsew's patterns?

I ordered one pattern from PrintSew, and I had trouble getting the pages to line up correctly, too. My pattern was for a pair of PJ pants, so I was able to line it up pretty closely and go from there. With something like a tailored shirt, though, you probably would need to be a little more exact. The PJ pants were loose and had a little room for error.

My experience with home printed patterns is that I need to cut off about 1/4" on one side of every joining. You might be able to set the printer to show the printer marks for joining pages.
