I was cutting buttons off some old clothes and I was in a rush. Everyone is in a bad mood, so I was rushing. Then I cut my ring finger! It hurts and there is a lot of blood. Silly stupid scissors, why did I have to buy the best?
I refuse to waste 20 hours in an emergency room with 2 kids on a Summer-like Saturday!

Sending hugs... and if it's a deep cut, perhaps reconsider that decision not to go to emergency. Good point, though, about the crazy length of time it can take. Do you have weekend drop-in clinics there?

Ooooh dear, I am so sorry. It's a gorgeous Saturday here, too. I too wouldn't want to spend it waiting interminably..... But I've heard scary things sometimes about deep cuts. (Is it deep?) You have peroxide, yes? Wonderful thing, that, for preventing infection from setting in. Wash well, put on some antibacterial cream or spray, and apply pressure and raise it up, and the bleeding should begin to abate. for healing and a lovely day!!!

Our clinics are over loaded. If you don;t get there by 8am they are booked for the day. It is easier to drive to Ontario and go to the ER in Hawksbury.

Still bleeding? If so you may well need stitches... up to date on tetnus shot .... that is also to consider "just in case".
I am sorry this happened... take care...

I changed the band aid and I am still bleeding like a stuck pig. Off to Ontario's Hawksbury Hospital. Mom will babysit.... Date Night LOL. If we drive for 1.5 hours, we will wait (hopefully) about an hour. If I go here in Montreal, it is a minimum of 18 hour wait. I HOPE AND PRAY it is not a long wait on Ontario!
I am such a klutz!

So, how is your finger feeling now? How was your ER visit? Hope you're feeling fine now.
