I have set up a group page on Flickr called "12 Months of Grainline Studios Archer Shirt". Once you sew this versatile, great looking button up shirt I guarantee you'll be hooked. Members will sew one Archer shirt per month from May 2013 through April 2014. Come join us!

Pattern is available for digital download on Pattern Review.

I would love to! I have the archer shirt pattern and her skirt pattern too - which is a fun, easy make that looks great too.

What a fun idea, I love this pattern to death and have just completed my 3rd one. (Guess that counts as the May Archer.) Don't know about you but all my shirting fabric scream to be made into Archers now. :)

I'm not so sure I'm going to be able to limit myself to 12 Archers in the coming year --- in spite of the fact that was the deal I made with myself :P! Like Heather said, every shirting appropriate fabric in my stash (and it's a big stash!) is looking as if it would make another wonderful Archer!

Okay, I can't stand it! I want to join but haven't even downloaded the pattern yet. I will do so, and if I love it as much as everyone else does, I'm in!

Looks like we have five members signed up on the Flickr page now. I also posted a message about the sew along on the Grainline Patterns page so maybe we'll pick up a few members from there. Come on Dorcas, give it a try!!

Okay, pattern downloaded and printed. Fabric purchased. I see a muslin on the horizon. Lord, 40 pages of pattern to put together. That's a project all on its own!

You know, I fell so head over heels for the pattern, I completely forgot about that part!

I have been looking at this pattern for awhile...can anyone give me their impression about how this top might work for a plus sized person? I am at the high end of her measurements, but somehow both the Archer and the scout look to me like they might not work for a "fluffier" figure.

I've cut my contrast pieces and tomorrow will tackle the rest. I cut a 6 with a 2 sleeve so we'll see. It seems awfully roomy but i'm not used to sewing unstructured shirts. So far, so good. It certainly is well drafted.
