Found this pattern and have made muslin for top. I think a dress would be great for this pattern. Read a few reviews about a dress, but wonder if there are any hints on how to accomplish this easily. A skirt pattern is included, but don't know if it would work for a pear shape or just go to my ol' A-Line.
Thank you.

Ruthie has made many dresses out of the NL6735 top. Check out her blog.

Cute pattern-I love the youthful vibe of these patterns. I would try the skirt pattern included as I think that would be softer than an A-line. Keep us posted on your progress.

Lynnelle, Thanks for the link to Ruthie's blog. I have added her to my reading list-she has some great posts on wardrobe planning!

The skirt's gored, so if you wanted to use it for the bottom half you'd have to add a waist seam, or princess-seam the bodice. I think it depends a lot on what shape you want for the bottom half - you could go simple t-shirt dress, pretty much straight down, or more of an a-line or flared skirt. If what you like is the fit of the NL top, you could easily 'fuse' it with the skirt of a dress shape that you like.

Really cute pattern for some nice basics. Will have to add this one to my stash.
