OK, here's the problem. I first joined PR as DonnaH years ago, and at that time I used my work email (at the time, the only email I had/used). I wasn't a very active member, mostly just looked at reviews for patterns I was considering.
After a move, and a few years not sewing, I found my way back (to sewing and PR), but no longer having access to the old email (I now worked for a new company) I couldn't recover my password. So I set up a new ID - DonnaH21. And used my (new at the time) personal email. I actually edited my profile under this ID.
Soon after, I tried a few possible passwords for the older ID, and one of them worked! So I changed the email to my personal email. Unfortunately, what that means is that I now cannot access DonnaH21 - logging on PR assumes (by my email) that I want to access DonnaH. But then when I try to update that profile, it tells me there is already a profile for that email.
Other than creating a special email just for PR (not something I really want to do), I'm not sure how to fix this.
