Ok, maybe not all of them, But i'm going to be helping my mum out with her New Australian Company. It's baby clothing, and sleeping apparel that helps to Prevent early deaths for babies in their sleep, aswell as other things.
Anyway! I've been the dude on the computer! searching through google for Bamboo cotton, Gutermann thread and other fabrics to try and find somewhere (For Australia) where we can get it Wholesale, with no avail!.. So unless I've misread something or I'm looking in the wrong places, Does anyone know any places that sell these or other fabrics wholesale for Australia? If not what other cheaper options are there to get bulk quantities.
OOH! Plus.. i'm also thinking about doing a side thing of my own and learn how to make plush toys for like game characters and such and perhaps even some carving stuff.. If anyone has experience in making Plush toys, id love to pick your brain and figure out what to do (I'd be completely new at it!).. But then again id have my mum as a secret weapon to help i suppose :P (That.. sounds kinda lame.. but oh well)
Any information given related to what i've written would be greatly appreciated

I don't live in Australia, so no help there. I have made a few stuffed animals before, so you may want to try using a ready-made pattern for the first couple. From there, you''ll see how easy it can be to create your own patterns.

As for thread. Write to the companies as see if you can buy the thread whole sale there. Tell them what your doing some companies even will donate the thread. I know metro.com was having thread on sale.
As for stuff animal the best pattern are from the past even some from now. I like the older pattern that I use to make stuffed toys.

Maybe try ebay. A fair amount of international companies have an ebay account and if something is shipping from Thailand or China anyway I think you may be able to get a shipping break. Also, Chloe who own StyleArc patterns may be more in the know about these things in your neck of the woods since she is also based in Australia and wouldn't mind sharing the info http://www.stylearc.com.au/stylearc/. There's a "down under" thread under "Regional Communities", you might also ask there..... seems like a jolly place!
