Hi to everyone,

There are new scrubs for us medical ppl on the market now made of "moisture wicking" fabric. I really want some, but the prices are insane. I've noticed that the fiber mix of the leading brand is 77%poly/23% rayon, but I cannot find anything similar browsing on line or in stores. Suggestions?

Thanks so much....

Wird. Usually the moisture wicking fabrics I see are all stretch jerseys, as they're targeted for exercise gear. I don't think I've seen any wicking wovens, but hopefully someone else can come along to help... Perhaps an outdoor specialist shop might have something similar for hikers?

Poly/Rayon it's got to be the Rayon that "wicks"

If you put Rayon in your search of Fabric websites (Joann's) etc you can get a list of fabrics that are 35% Rayon etc..

Hope this helps!

Here is one link:

Some polyesters are wicking fabrics, it depends on the way they are manufactured - think Polar Tec.

Try Fabricline - they have some different woven wickaway fabrics. They will be happy to send swatches. I find the website a bit cumbersome, but I've been a happy (if infrequent) customer.
Here is link to a search I did on the site for Woven + Wick
