I know this topic comes up every so often but looks like the last time was a year ago at least. I'm wondering if there are newer/better places to buy from?

In the past, I've bought from
- Discount Embroidery Supply
- AllBrands

Thanks!

They will get used over time, but would Love to read where Schmetz is in bulk

Here:

Schmetz

They seem to be about the same price everywhere, so you may as well get it from the source!

Check out Cleaner's Supply/Wawak--I just got several Schmetz stretch twin needles from them (since nobody carries them in brick and mortar anymore), along with a bunch of other notions at good prices. Shipping is $3.83, regardless of how much you order, and they automatically send a return label with prepaid postage with your order in case you want to send anything back. I'm not affiliated, I just think they're a good company.

JHittle Sewing. You have to sign up to get the email link to let you on the site, but their prices are great and they ship fast. Their web site, however, will cause you to tear your hair out. If it wasn't worth it ...

Example: 50 size 14 universal needles: $16.45, or 5-pack for $2.24.

Why not stock up when JoAnn has notions @ 1/2 price.

I have never heard of any machine "disliking" Organ needles.

I originally planned that but the last time I tried to buy during 1/2 off sale, the needles I wanted were already gone (at both Hancock and Joann). It seems less of a hassle to buy online than watch for a sale then hope that it isn't sold out by the time I get there.

Hi Judie,

Hmm. The price on Schmetz site is more expensive. A box of 100 Microtex needles is $70 at Schmetz and Allbrands sells them for $50.

I have found some sizes of Schmetz needles at Michael's (the craft store). The frequently have 40 or 50% off coupons.

I buy them as I need them at JoAnn's or Hancocks when on sale. If I have a need in between sales, I will use a coupon.
