Somehow the timing of my hook has gotten off and I need to know how this can be done. I took it to someone but they didn't work on Pfaff machines and said it couldn't be fixed. I love this machine and I am determined to get it fixed. Any suggestions?

Have you checked the Pfaff website for an authorized dealer/repair store in your area?

it doesn't matter what type of sewing you do. you are sewing, and sewing is good.

Can't be fixed? I find that hard to believe. Your machine is a strait forward mechanical, of the best quality to boot. I have never had to do this with my old Pfaff so am unfamiliar. You can do two things: Take it to a better repair shop or do it yourself. For the latter, check out a Yahoo group for help in either the files or by asking for directions. It is called "oldpfaffforum" or similar.

Call around to various shops and maybe offer this as a reference.
