I bought some "baby silk" from Hancocks. How do I pretreat it and care for it? Treat it the same as regular silk?

Looks like it is not silk...it is 100% polyester...
I looked at Hancock on-line.

I bought the remainder of a bolt of baby silk from Hancock's dot sale. I threw it in the washer with cold water and dried it on normal in the dryer. It came out beautiful and wrinkle free. I've used some as lining in a couple projects already and again, it washes beautifully.

Oh, and yes, it is 100% polyester. I really like it. It's so, so soft and drapey. Nice for linings, blouses and such.

Awesome! I was really nervous because I Aldo bought it on the spot the dot sale but it was on a blank bolt with " baby silk " written on the top . It's a real nice matte black but wash and wear... Thanks!
