Just saw this on their website. My local dealer told me they are coming out with 5 new machines this year. I was surprised to see this up since their convention isn't until this Fall.

From the pictures on their blog posted in May, it looks like some of those new machines include updated sergers.

That looks nice. Reading a color screen is easier on my eyes. That is such a great addition to the Topaz

Since my herd is currently sound asleep and not looking over my shoulder, I can go ahead and say "wow pretty machine!!!" without being glared or growled at. (For some weird reason, my herd is adamant about no more machines allowed in.)

The only thing I wish is that the Vikings would have the Pfaff IDT. Other brands are adding IDT now that the patent is expired...why can't Vikings have it, too!

Most of all, I heart Woo (HimmyCat). Until we meet again, my beautiful little boy. I love you.

Same here, Lynne. And, it's got a color screen! Mine didn't/couldn't growl when the Tin Man (Juki2010) was delivered. They realized that he's well, special and different. My pocketbook and/or cc would be the one growling, really.....

LOL, they might have your computer bugged though!

I don't think Viking will have it since they are basically the same company and might want to keep the lines a little separate in features. Viking does have the interchangeable dual feed foot though, which I must say, is a great foot with the different soles available. The Topaz 50 seems to be Vikings version of the new Pfaff Creative 3.0. Viking and Pfaff to me are like Brother and Babylock, similar machines +/- some features of each other.

I wonder what the MSRP is on this one? Looks a good deal for people who want a color screen but a want a more reasonable price than the Rubies.

The other machine in the blog post does look like a serger so it will be interesting to see what other new machines are released . . . not that I need one .
