My 'spring/summer uniform' is generally skirt, t-shirt and flip flops. i'm looking for a TNT t-shirt. NO crew neck..either rounded neckline, or v-neck. (the girls have to breathe! )

I'm a beginner, but I'm ready to venture into the world of knits....even though I don't have a serger (yet).

Vogue 8679.... If that number is out of print I know the top has been brought back. You might actually find it mixed in with a suit.
And vogue 8559. Yes.... There is a t-shirt in that pattern but it doesn't feature it on the cover. This is my TNT. I love the neck/armhole band options. It's a marcy tilton pattern.
Both are really easy.

Sewaholic's Renfrew tee has 65 reviews.

Where are we going, and what am I doing in this handbasket?

I highly recommend Kwik Sew. Kwik Sew patterns have good directions for beginners. Jalie (sold here on PR) have several that match that description. One that has gotten alot of reviews is New Look 6735 6735 T's are easy to sew. That is what I started with. The tricky part is the neckline. There is a Sew Along under the Beginners thread that has lots of hints. You can sew knits without a serger. Just go for it!

I have the pattern, but haven't used it, but it's traced..I promise I got that far. I bought it after reading so many positive reviews from both beginners and experienced sewists. Tasia (the designer) seems to have a real gift for producing patterns that are well thought out, well drafted and well explained.

Pamela's perfect T; without a doubt. A supplementary pattern with additional neckline and sleeve options is also available. I LOVE this pattern.
