hi all,

this is my first post here and i'm hoping for a bit of advice. i'm new to sewing, been trying it out for the last few months with a friend. we bought Singer 7258 Stylist machines and have taken some basic quilting and sewing classes, and are planning some more.

it's clear to me that an extension table would be helpful... so why is it so hard to buy one from Singer? i'm looking for ones on Ebay and i can't figure out what part number i should be looking at. is it better just to buy one of these plexiglass ones from a third party that actually look pretty nice?

thanks for the advice in advance..

nicole

Here is one that is not too expensive. You can call them with the measurements as they offer in the ad, to be sure it will fit.

Thanks! That does look like a good moderately priced option...

You can also order a Sew Steady Table custom made to fit any SM you want. The smallest size one here is about the same cost as the white one which was linked to.

I have a white extension table for my Singer Superb and a Sew Steady for my other machine. I really prefer the clear of the Sew Steady because I keep a few sewing notions under it while sewing and can see where they are to grab.

I ordered from Nancy's Notions and used a free ship coupon. When you order Sew Steady's they take a bit longer to arrive as they come right from the company.

Thank you Lord for my Mother who taught me the joy of sewing, for my Father who encouraged my sewing, for the talent You gave me to sew, and for all the special people in my life to sew for.
