I could not find anything. It would seem as though a lining would work for a weightier fabric and a rolled hem for the lighter weight fabric.
The lining would take care of the / and hemming first and then seaming at last would catch the center of the /.

Vogue Patterns 8881 has one it's not the cover pic, but it's one of the options and it's why I bought the pattern--it's sold as a shirt, but it shouldn't be hard to lower the front. Or if you are a lithe 20 year-old, like my dd, you can wear the "shirt" as a dress!
