I've been sorting through my stash and found two types of knitted lace, which I'd like to use during the Fabric Stash Contest:
1. black wool lace (kind of open-work squares--might actually be a VERY loose woven)
2. cream rayon blend leaf-patterned lace
What's the best way to use these fabrics? The only thing I've thought of so far is a poncho or a very loose T-shirt to wear as a light over-layer. Or maybe McCall's 6704 view A, with the cream rayon lace.
What have you sewn or dreamed about sewing with knitted lace?
