To this dress.
New York & Co. dress
This dress is not my size, and the style wouldn't flatter me, but I love the print.
TIA!

I forgot to mention I will be making a dress or skirt if I can find a similar print.

Emmaonesock.com has many similar prints....keep checking she adds new fabrics every few days and they sell fast.

Some of those are really pretty but those prices seem plenty high in my opinion.

This is what happens with fast fashion. The price on that dress, which is really nice, is incredibly inexpensive. Today it is not cheaper to sew your own clothing. Do it for the pleasure. It's your hobby and its OK to spend money on what makes you happy.

True but since I only wear dresses and skirts for special occasions it is still hard to justify the cost.

The other reality is that we don't all share the same amount of discretionary income. Sometimes it is important to pay attention to the numbers even if the object is one's own enjoyment.

In recent years I have become more and more aware of this reality.
