I made this.

All day I cut pieces and put patches together. I quilted all night. Then, I went out to take a pic and that happened.

Immediately - I wanted to be in bed.

But - I was determined.

Its a great quilt. I really like the size, weight, quilting and design. Ive never made this pattern before. Its easy, I know - but I like the vintage appeal. And, all of the patches are made from used shirts. The red ticking is some left over fabric from a fancy pants job a friend of mine did. The back is recycled fabrics, too. I really like its simplicity.

First of all, I LOVE that picture of George!!!!

Second, you know I love old things (good thing for my husband) and I think this is just a wonderful quilt. Yes, it is simple, but visually striking, and just an exemplar of true quilting. It looks like what it is, something both useful and beautiful.

Here we go - it stopped raining for a few min.

There are some other pics. I super like the quilt. I had been saving the ticking for a long long time. And the back is exactly what I wanted. Simple and real good.

Very nice indeed, per your usual great work! I love the fact you re-cycle clothing, etc. to use in your quilts - makes it even more special:)
The design is quite nice!

I love the colors and the design and the fact that it is reversible. Great job!

You did a wonderful job on your quilt. My mom used to say "If you can't see it on a running horse. There are no mistakes."
also remember the chinese have a mistake on purpose for no one is perfect. I have one large notebook of 4 and 9 patch patterns.I love your quilt. I bought 500- 2in. squares at a estate sale. I use 2 squares each time I start sewing. Some day they will all go together.
