On shopping for sexy lingerie at 65:

Where did you go for your bra, Mrs. Robinson?

Quote:
I continue the lingerie search and go uptown to a department store. Once again a lot of the prettiest bras and panties do not go up to my size. I take a dozen items into the fitting room and a dozen out. They include lace underwear, which I realize only when I put it on has a small round key-hole in the back. It is not a look I want at 65. Neither is a bustier that comes to my waist, the equivalent of a yellow traffic light pointing to your belly. There may be postmenopausal women my age who are entirely fat free here, but in my experience, they require medical treatment.

Wonderful funny article--thanks for sharing.

Read the comments and couldn't help it--wanted to share with everyone here "Mr. Gotee's" comments below the article:

"The article was informative. When a Woman reaches 40 and beyond she becomes more desirable and much more experienced, end of statement!! Women in their 20's and 30's are nice to look at. They have not matured enough in my opinion. Sure lots of education on the job fast track. But their is something different about her once she crosses that certain thresh hold. In my opinion it is difficult to put into words. An energy if you will that is there and very noticeable and desirable. Women please stop judging yourself there is no need with this self doubt. It is not necessary your you special unique you hold the key. Let go place your trust in your intuition that inner voice. It will guide you like nothing else. Just make sure it is your true inner wisdom not the inner dialogue of self doubt. Even when I was in my teens and 20's and 30's. Older women have always caught my eye and still do at 66. Besides your sexy embrace the desirable you!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!"

Let's celebrate being ourselves!

Lol, funny article, though it does make me suspect I'm missing a female gene somewhere along the chain. I'm way more likely to be debating what the next Star Trek tv series should be like and what the features of a next gen MMO will be.
