I'm sewing view A. I need a size 10 for my shoulders and a 16 everywhere else. How do I cut for the sleeve width to be a size 16? A size 10 makes the sleeve width too tight. Do I just taper out to a 16 from the neckline out?

What I would do is I'd drop the curve underneath the sleeve, and taper the width out to the end of the sleeve hem. Don't mess with the neckline as that is where the size 10 is.

I'm sure the others will have some other ideas.

OK, here's my first thought, assuming the pattern pieces look like I imagine: use the neckline and shoulder/top of sleeves from the size 10. Assuming the sleeves are tight just at the armhole, not the whole way down - start with a size 10 at the wrist, and taper to the size 16 by the time you get to the armpit area; stick with the size 16 for the side seams.
