Are the same company? They have the same stock numbers.

I wonder why they didn't just merge their websites.

It's possible they didn't want to lose any customers.

I ordered from them once. One fabric was out of stock and they fulfilled the order without asking me about it (the remainder of the order didn't justify the shipping). They charged me for the full order though saying there would be a refund later.

It didn't appear and I had to call about it. I was told it would take 10 days or something like that.

I often wondered if it would have appeared had I not paid attention and/or called.

I'll never order from them again. Too many hoops; too little communication and too many other good stores with great deals and great customer service.

Any news here on service/quality?
So much to sort thru tho.

Wish the smaller sites like FabricMart and Etsy could double their
stock and WHY can't local stores get their affordable knits instead of the $15-20 yd?

Other then being a little slow on shipping, I haven't had any problems. One fabric last year that was sold out, some gal called before shipping but I am very specific about it. As in "If any item is sold out, please call xxx." if I don't care, I add, "you may ship the order if I will still receive the free shipping" as it has applied.

They're better in quality and speed then fabric.com, better on speed and the same quality of what I order with Gorgeous fabrics and about the same quality/speed as FM. Here recently, it's taken FabricMart over a week to get my order out, and then the weather has made it really late, as in 2 weeks from order to my door late. FFC takes about a week to a week and a half to get to my door from the day I order, which is always in the middle of the night.

My card was refunded the next day after the call. The other time I didn't ask for a call (send it if I get free shipping), I had the money refunded a few days after I placed the order.

Wow, with the exception of one or two fabrics, I'd have to say that what I've gotten from fabric.com has been better than Denver Fabrics/Fashion Fabrics Cub.

Denver Fabrics/Fashion Fabrics Club is my regular "go-to." I like their unusual assortment. I have had the same shipping experience as Kwaaked. I receive orders from Denver Fabrics faster than from Fabric.com and about the same or faster than Fabricmartfabrics.com.

I have found that I can find most of the basic fabric that fabric.com sells at Joanns and often less expensive with coupons. Plus fabric.com makes too many mistakes on orders. Denver Fabrics has never messed up MY orders.

Thanks for feedback.
Used to order from Fabric.com regularly with fast service and X-long cuts, no problems. I haven't after everyone reported problems when Amazon bought them.

I've never ordered from them as I get bored trying to wade through the website.

Fabric.com burned me twice so I haven't ordered from them again.

I love FabricMart.

I have no idea why knits at JA/H are so dang expensive.

When I really want knits and FM isn't having a sale I go to SR Harris Warehouse. Most knits are $4.50/yd and unless you're talking organic bamboo tend to top out around $6/yd. It's worth the 25 minute drive.
