I was fasting (WAS being the operative word). And I decided to splurge on the Fabric Mart cotton sale. I got some nice voile and lawn and gauze and drill. I even gambled on a bundle and was happy this time.

I got the small, 6 yard for $10 deal. At first I was disappointed that it was only two 3-yard cuts. But one is a ribbed knit and one is a cotton fabric.

I was almost sure about the fabric being cotton and did a burn test...and then confirmed my thoughts by running infrared on the ash today at work - immediately popped up as cellulose. Yay! :)

I also scored on a free bundle and got some pretty border knit

I found some fabric at Walmart for $1/yard and figured it would be good for muslin. IR on that one confirmed it's a cotton/poly blend. Probably a 60/40 or 65/35. I'll take it!
