Im in love. All style of quilts are my favorite and I especially love scrap quilts that are real scraps. That quilt felt like lots of work. It never seemed to be finished. It still even needs a binding! But, I got to use lots and lots of scraps. I think the scrap bins just got fluffier - they all seem as full as they were before.

Beautiful! I want to make a scrap quilt but I've always been afraid my scraps won't blend together. Yours looks great.

This quilt has - what I think is - the LAST bit of one of the best fabrics ever in it.

I found this turquoise Coy Fish fabric somewhere and loved it.



I love novelty prints in quilts.

Beautiful Portland, and how wonderful to use up tons of scraps!!!! How do the scraps keep making more when we are not looking????

Love the use of all the prints, it just floats.

I think that speeding along at 1600spm helps! The squares were also 2.5 inches. A size that I have for the accuquilt. Time savers!

And, because all the parts were already scraps - I relaxed a bit on making every thread of fabric count. I recycled so much fabric - when it gets down to an inch and I have saved the rest of the shirt from the dumpster - I let myself throw it away. That makes the cutting go even faster.

Im also single with no kids. My dog, George appreciates me the most when I let him be lazy. So - he is an encouragement to quilt.

Most of all - Im a full time student. My work load has been light the last 4 weeks. Im still making plans for when school is over - so, Im working like crazy now. I dont know what the future will do to my time.
