I decided to check out StyleArc patterns. I read great reviews but as a plus sized lady I was not sure they would work for us.

My measurements put be between a 22 and 24 with the exception that my shoulders were not as wide as the corresponding sizes. So I included a brief note with my measurements and that I was a D/DD. I asked them to recommend the size I should use. They sent a 24.

My test was sewing the Patsy Top out of the package. No adjusting. No FBA.

IT FITS beautifully. You cannot see me but hearts and flowers are flying out of my head. I am so excited I had to post before I could get a photo. I will post a photo later because I ran out of thread to hem it.

I can "read" your excitement. Congratulations!

That is great news! I've been wanting to try their patterns but hated to spend the money if they weren't going to work. I'll have to check them out.

Doing a happy dance for you and me as you and I are similar in size. I have put off ordering style arc patterns because of the shipping charges. I didn't want to pay a lot in shipping charges then have to make a ton of fitting alteration.

Same here---some places on my body are one size, some another size---I wish they had all sizes or most sizes in one.

I will post a photo on my body tomorrow so you can see what it looks like on a plus person. With or without hem

Do the patterns include all sizes?
What are the shipping prices to the US?

One size per pattern. Shipping is from Australia so on the pricey side.

I've found that the shipping costs are best minimized when you order three patterns (and get one free.) That way, shipping is about $4.50/pattern. When you place an order, you can play around with the number of patterns and check the shipping before you commit.

Just what I did on June 30 so I could get the Dee pattern for free. This was my first order and I thought I did a good job of choosing versatile patterns. Aside from a special project I have in mind for the Romy Anorak I decided to focus on just one fabric group while I get started withStyleArc.

I chose these patterns for knits,
Cosi Cardi - to sew as is and to tinker with for pull over v-neck tunic
Dee - to sew as is and to tinker with for plain front t
Cruise Club Kim - to sew as is in various lengths and short as a shell or under layer

Romy Anorak - I took the total plunge and 'joined'. This is my free pattern that is part of the annual member package. It also includes a 10% discount.

I'm not a pattern tracer but will have to change my ways with StyleArc. There was a time though when Vogue patterns were really excellent nearly all of the time and a discount of 10% was a big deal. So I do have some very old, treasured and used Vogue patterns that cost as much as these even with shipping included.
