Happy Canada day everyone!!!!!!!
Today I desided to get my son boat seat
Recovered. Now two more projects and
Then I can start some tops for me.
Happy birthday, anniversary , or anything
That is going on.
We had a very nice day today.

Canada Day here was beautiful but hot by our standards. Today we will be pushing 86+ degrees. Did not go see the fireworks but I heard them. It stays light here so late that they can't have the fireworks until 11:00 pm. Even then, the sun was still setting.

Very, very proud of the way my fellow Albertans are pulling together to help our Southern Alberta neighbours out after that massive flooding. Makes me happy to hear all the good wishes and help from the rest of Canada and warm thoughts from our US neighbours. So many have lost everything they own. (In Canada, we can't buy flood insurance.. ) We shall all just keep calm and carry on and help them out best we can.

My birthday is tomorrow then it is America's time to party. Happy 4th of July everyone!!

Happy Birthday!! I hope it is a good one.

(My Grandma's birthday was July 3rd too, she would be 100 this year if living.)

It is beautiful day out & DH is off all day! since he is working through the holiday he got today off. It is sunny, breezy & 74 ! No storms due to July 4th & then all weekend. storms all weekend for DH family reunion .. ugh!

We are two-thirds of the way through loading between seven and eight tons of hay into the barn loft. Tomorrow should finish it if all goes well (read: nothing breaks, including my back )

I'm on call with the sheriff office's victim response unit over the 4th, then we're off to meet friends from all over the country for several days of riding motorcycles in the Yellowstone/Bear Tooth areas of Wyoming and Montana.

I'm posting in the July sunshine thread and...we have sunshine! That's not a given for the first part of July in the Puget Sound region. My garden is GROWING! Do you know the old adage about corn, "knee high by the Fourth of July?" Some of my corn is almost head high! And it is HARD to grow corn here!

Happy 4th to all our U.S. members -- enjoy your celebrations whatever they are.

July marks my DD and DSIL's 13th anniversary (8th), DS and DDIL's 1st anniversary (7th) and DDIL's birthday (11th).

July is also when I go to Minneapolis to take a bra making course with Anne from Needle Nook -- really looking forward to it.

We're in the middle of a heat wave here (has been all week with temps in the high 20s and low 30s C) -- may get some thunderstorms later today.
