Worked a bit on it last night after coming home from a surprisely good family BBQ experience.

orchard 1

Orchard 2

Orchard 3

noting is pressed down to backround yet just some of the pieces are pressed together. Getting the tree together was an exercise in patience to say the least.

It's mind boggling to me how quickly you get things done

I think it's going to be a very nice quilt :)

You have so much more patience than I when it comes to the applique quilting.

Love the way it is looking -- continued good luck with your project.

Thanks guys it means a lot, cos when I look at it I see the mistakes, cutting not quite perfect etc. the tree on the other side is bigger. But once you done one you pick up some tricks. Good thing it's baseball season. At night I sit and trace/cut while watching the game with dh and dd. Get to spend time with family and quilt at the same time :)

Hey me too!!!!

I get a lot of sewing done and glue a lot of crystals while watching baseball games. Totally something you can listen to and then look up when needed -- most of the time they'll have a replay if you miss something.

Usually DH is busy doing his thing but we are both listening to the game and usually chatting with each other between plays.
